In October 2025 the scientific monograph entitled “Feeding laboratory animals: rats, mice, rabbits” (in Polish version only) edited by Barbara Pastuszewska, Marcin Taciak and Anna Tuśnio was published. It is the extended version of the first Polish-language publication “Feeding of laboratory rat and mice” regarding the proper nutrition and nutrient requirements of laboratory animals issued by the Institute in 2019. It has been enriched with information on the nutrition of rabbits, an important laboratory animal species, as they are a common model in biomedical research.
This scientific description is a response for all questions and demands of the community of people dealing with laboratory animals, which also fills the gap in the current bibliography.
