Subsection written by prof. Alina Gajewska in the textbook for students

Edra Urban&Partner has issued a three-volume textbook for students entitled: ‘Physiology and Patophysiology’. The textbook edited by A. Cudnoch-Jędrzejewska, A. Wsół, M. Kowara, L. Puchalska and A. Kucharska aims to introduce and deepen the knowledge in the field of physiology and pathophysiology, combining these two areas into a coherent whole. The Authors of two subsections ‘Hypothalamic regulation of the gonadal axis’ and ‘Secretion and action of pituitary gonadotropins’ in the section ‘Endocrynology’ are prof. PhD DSc Alina Gajewska from Department of Animal Physiology of our Institute and prof. PhD DSc Stanisław Okrasa from Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. As it is written in the preface: Each chapter provides a detailed discussion of both normal and impaired processes, illustrated with numerous clinical examples. Additionally, each chapter includes sections dedicated to the latest research and discoveries in the field, allowing for updated knowledge and understanding of the dynamic developments in medicine and related disciplines.’
