Interview in Programme I of Polish Radio with Agnieszka Białek, PhD, DSc, within the scope of XXIX Science Festival

We are honoured to inform that Agnieszka Białek, PhD, DSc, from our Institute has been invited to give an interview for Programme I of Polish Radio. The interview will be connected with the lecture given by Agnieszka during the XXIX Science Festival.

Agnieszka Białek, PhD, DSc, has given the lecture ‘Plastic trace – how moicroplastic changes our reality?’ during the XXIX Science Festival. During presentation, she introduced the audience to the growing threat posed by microplastic pollution. She discussed in detail the dangers associated with its presence in air, water, soil, and food, as well as its impact on human and animal health. The mechanisms of microplastic migration were also discussed, along with the latest findings indicating its presence i.a, in the bloodstream and breast milk. Particular attention was paid to the impact of microplastic on the human digestive, immune, and hormonal systems.

The presented topic enjoyed such a great interest among listeners and so editor Artur Wolski has invited her to give an interview for Programme I of Polish Radio.

The interview will be available on September 25, 2025, in the ‘Eureka’ broadcast on Programme I of Polish Radio.
