DVM Dominika Szkopek gave the lecture ‘The therapeutic effects of oat beca-glucans in an experimental procine model of Crohn’s disease’ and presented a poster ‘Efficacy of 2,4-dinitrobenzene sulfonic acid in the maintenance of a  model of colitis in piglets’. Also team’s research results were also presented by PhD eng. Kamil Zaworski: ‘The role of alpha-amylase, in  comparison to mixed pancreatic enzymes, for the maintenance of small intestinal wall structure in a model of exocrine pancreas insufficiency in pigs’ and ‘The postprandial absorption of protein as peptides (di-, tripeptides) and free amino acids in exocrine pancreas insufficient (EPI) pigs’, and PhD, DSc Jarosław Woliński: ‘Time-course analysis of iron metabolism in the piglet model of iron deficiency and repletion after oral supplementation with Sucrosmial Iron” i „Effects of Sucrosmial Iron on gut microbiota in term and preterm piglets’. The conference was an opportunity to listen to many interesting lectures and presentations, as well as to exchange experiences in the international scientific community.
