On April 24-27, 2025 in Żywiec, the II International Surgical Suturing Championships together with the International Scientific Conference SPINNAKER organised by Students Scientific Association at the Clinic of Surgery for Developmental Defects in Children and Traumatology in Zabrze, Medical University in Silesia with cooperation with The Kielanowski Institute of Animal Physiology and Nutrition, Polish Academy of Sciences were held.
The practical part of the event consisted of suturing and tissue fusion technical workshops. There were four parts of training in the fields of surgery, gastroenterology, cardiac surgery and neurology dedicated for young doctors, students and professionals.
In the lecture part, divided into poster and oral presentations, cases of special diseases inducing congenital defects in children and methods of their treatment were presented.
In connection with a great interest in the workshops (in this edition there were more than 330 participants), the decision to organise them periodically was made.
